What- C2 x Leaders Dunk 95 and the Dunk 95 New Era fitted cap
Where- Downtown location
When- 12 noon (April 21)
How many- Dunk: FSR 9 to 12
Price- $250
The year was 2004, (before a lot now sneakers dudes were into sneakers) Ty commissioned then 14yr old C2 to put together a pair of gradient dunks for him….and that was the beginning of a beautiful “sneaker-ship”. C2 went on to do a good 15+ custom pairs but never an official store collab. C2s sneaker painting days are winding down with the approach of his sophomore year at the University of Minnesota. What better than run back the “Dunk 95″ and make it somewhat more widely available.
Friday, August 21st you’ll have your chance to get your hands on 1/12 pairs before C2 hangs up his brushes. Shoes and “The 95″ LDRS New Era fitted will be available on first come first serve basis.
Original 2004 “Dunk 95″. Can anyone guess the original shoes? (Hint, it came in a pack consisting of a Trainer 1 and an AF1.)

  29. LOVE on August 19th, 2009 11:50 pm

KeVlar I’m gonna take a wild guess and say you just started buying shoes, you’re not into shoes, or maybe nyou never attempted to paint a shoe before. The man hand painted 12 identical pairs of shoes by hand you’d be asking $250 also. Don’t forget you have to purchase the shoe that you’re painting on also. The gradient looks flawless, I don’t even want to know the hours put into this shoe. $250 is fair.

  30. KeVLaR on August 20th, 2009 11:23 am

Yo LOVE….you’re wrong, I actually have been buying sneaker for years but you’re right in that I never have tried my hand at painting any myself.

In all honesty….I wasn’t even thinkin of the fact that he had to buy the shoes first so my bad, you right….def a fair price now that makes sense.
