Vita Morte’s “Building this Chicago S*%t”!!!!!! ..Releases this Saturday.
Filed Under Events | 13 Comments

The Building Chicago tee simply means exactly what it says. People always talk on how Chicago is the “City of Hella Haters” but they do nothing to correct it. We want to focus on the people that do things to improve this great city, rather than to constantly SHIT on it. I think we can all agree with this message, so Let’s Build this Chicago Shit.
Join us as we release the 4 different colorways of the”Building This Chicago Shit” tee. Surprises and giveaways all day. @LDRS1354 (Northside store)..yes they are limited

Nike Air Max 3 (Holiday 09′ sample) and Nike Air Max ST (Fall 09′ sample).
Filed Under The Random | 5 Comments

Today I’m chilling in a pair of Nike Air Max III aka “Air Garnet III” bka “KGIII” to sneaker people. A name was change was made for obvious reasons but everything else is pretty much the same. I think we all can agree that the vivid blue gradient mesh is what makes this shoe THE SHOE. Late Pass! It just dawned on me that the original Air Max Plus TN used the exact same gradient mesh on the first model. Air Max 3’s are definitely winning in the comfort and cushioning department and now I’m torn between them and my beloved Zoom Air Penny II’s. I never owned a pair back in 98′ due to having enough black and blue sneakers with all the Penny’s I owned, but I still made sure I soaked up all the information regarding the 3’s. Being a product of the “Eastbay Catalog Era” you got familiar with EVERY sneaker and not just what blogs deemed as cool. Look out for these this Holiday season at a retailer near you.

Nike Air Tailwind (Fall 09′ sample).
Filed Under The Random | 2 Comments

Today I’m rolling with a pair of sample Nike Tailwinds. My 92′ Kenya Tailwinds had to be buried 5 years ago do to major crackage so these Tailwinds will have to make do. These are a bit of of the norm with the Mettalic patent silver and metallic patent red hits on a traditional running shoe but I’m still digging them. A little change won’t hurt. I could actually wear these with jeans and not worry about die residue ending up on my kicks.
Here’s an interesting fact, in 1979 the Tailwind was the first sneaker with the patented Air-Sole cushioning system. Now I’m thinking of all the various sizes of air units that we’ve seen in the past 30 years, Nike has came a long way. Lets see, the AM180 and its 50% more air, Air Force Max visible heel unit, AM95 introduced us to the forefoot unit, Air Ubquitious full length visible unit, AM360 BB full midsole unit, the bubble has changed our lives.

Today I decided to go with my main man Stan Smith, my favorite shoe of all time. This particular pair is a take down of one of the original model Stan Smith wore in his playing days. The premium leather sits on top of an off white sole, gold tongue logo, with a subtle aloe green heel hit. These will be available Winter 09′. Read more
